What infrared photography does for our eyes, the Irish language does for our understanding of the world. We ripped the IR filters out of cameras to reveal an Ireland never seen before.

A lesson in less
Each photograph was shot using old colour separation techniques on a digital camera that had its infrared filter removed to pick up real colours in the scene invisible to the naked eye. These images weren’t retouched or graded in any way, to do so would have been counterintuitive to the idea.
